Simple healthier alfredo with a twist
The whole family will love this simple alfredo recipe. It is healthier and tastier than a normal recipe.
Gather necessary ingredients.
Boil fettuccini noodles in a pot of salted water until just cooked.
Add Cottage Cheese, Milk, 2 TBSP melted butter and Parmesan cheese to a blender and blend until smooth.
Add 2 TBSP of melted butter and flour to a pt on medium high heat and create a roux. Once it has cooked for 2 minutes pour in the contents from the blender.
Cook sauce until thickened, season as needed with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Cook Broccoli in the microwave until done, add it in with the cooked drained pasta. Pour the sauce over the top and serve.
